Reminderfox is an excellent tool to manage your todo list and organize your events builtin to firefox as an addon. Which works great since you won’t have to rely on a third party software to this for you, resulting in decluttering your computer and giving you access to it within a browser you find yourself using everyday. The UI itself is simple enough, where the options for making todo list and reminders are not much different from each other.

Options for making Dodos:

Making a list is simple enough. You can configure each entry by it’s importance, time, fluency, date. Each entry can be assigned to a different sets of categories as well as setting it up with an alarm to alert you beforehand. This application is clearly better than a commercial application (Atomic Clock) I was using for a long time as a reminder and setting up alarm clock for scheduling. This addon is conveniently located at the bottom, where an easy mouseover gives you information about your upcoming reminders.

Highly Recommended. You can get this addon here: Reminderfox

Firefox Download Day Beats All Predictions

According to SpreadFirefox.com Firefox 3 got downloaded more than 9.3 million time within the first 24 hours. While official numbers are still to be determined and the world record still to be handed out; after all said and down, it is more than anyone have ever expected. the numbers could have been much much higher, had the website been up during the massive traffic of early downloaders during peak time. For me alone the download page was down for 2 hours.

On a separate news the IE sends a cake to the FireFox headquarter at mozilla congratulating them on their success with Firefox 3. It’s good to see some friendly gesture towards your arch rival. I hope Firefox team returns the gesture by sending them a cake when IE 8 comes out.

Competition between IE and FF only means good things for the rest of us. Hopefully this will continue for many days to come.
